Things To Do
Wine Tasting
Sonoma County has a long history as one of the premier agricultural regions of the United States. With more than 250 wineries spread out over 13 distinct American Viticultural Areas, it’s little wonder that this corner of California has become synonymous with its wine. Kunde, and Williamson Wines are among our favorites.
Eat
There’s also more culinary diversity here than you might expect, so if you’re not in the mood for straight-ahead Cal-French or Cal-Italian, you can also snag some great tacos, a plate of momos or shawarma, or an unpretentious deli sandwich. Here are 25 of Sonoma County’s most delicious destinations.
Golf at Sonoma Golf Club
The course was designed under the auspices of Sonoma Mission Inn in 1928 by Sam Whiting, architect of San Francisco's prestigious Olympic Club Lake Course. Playing just over 7,100 yards from the championship tees. In fact, the Sonoma Golf Club was the former home of the PGA Champions Tour Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
